Work in Progress Ministries is growing. Please pray for us as we continue our search purchase land to build our church, as pictured above.
The Lord's vision for Work in Progress Ministries is for us to be governed by the word of God. We are not to go to the left, or to the right, but will stay with the word.
We are an evangelistic ministry. Our church will be used not only for services, but for community activities as well. We are finding ways to reach out to the youth. We will continue to find help for single parents. This ministry will birth Sons, and Daughters, that will go into ministry. |

For 2008 we are studying the entire Bible.
Currently Reading
Genesis 19 - Sodom and Gomorrah
Lot is in a back slidden state.
His wife looked back (her heart went back to her sinful nature) and (she) turned to a pillar of salt.
We will be studying the tribes and enemies of God
Scriptures to memorize to confront fear when it rises.
Psalm 56:22 In God I trust; I will not be afraid.
Psalm 56:3 When I am afraid, I will trust in you.
We've studied creation and the fall, covenants of the rainbow and of Abraham, the descendants of Noah, Abram and Lot, Sodom and Gomorah, the first account of tithes given to Melchizedek by Abram, the type and shadow (a foreshowing of what is to come) of Hagar & Sarai
In a previous class we studied the significance of the tithes Abram gave to Melchizedek (Mel-che-za-dik).
Genesis 14:17-20 After Abram had returned from defeating Kedorlamoer and the kings allied with him, the king of Sodom came out to meet him in the Valley of Shaveh (that is, the King's Valley). Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High, and he blessed Abram, saying, "Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth. And blessed be God Most High, who delivered your enemies into your hand." Then Abram gave him a tenth of everything.
Join us Tuesday's weekly at 7:00 p.m. as God uses Pastor Jones to teach His word from beginning to end. You won't want to miss a week of his insightful knowledge. |
